How to Reach
By Air (from Delhi): Fly from Delhi to Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun (approx. 1 hour), then travel about 225 km by road to Chopta.
By Train (from Delhi): Take a train from Delhi to Haridwar or Rishikesh (5–6 hours). From there, Chopta is around 200–210 km by road.
By Road (from Delhi): Chopta is approximately 450 km from Delhi and takes about 10–12 hours by car or bus via Rishikesh–Rudraprayag–Ukhimath route.
Best Time to Visit
March to June & September to November – Pleasant weather, clear skies, and ideal conditions for trekking and sightseeing.
December to February – Heavy snowfall; best for snow lovers, though access may be limited.
